Tree planting with children in San José, the painting of colorful murals by children and teenagers, our current bycicle path project will connect the University of Costa Rica in San Pedro with La Sabana park.
These projects aim to bring in young people to CAP to work on issues of peace and human rights while working with partners such as bycicle collectives, ecological associations and local municipalities.

Based in the capital of Costa Rica, San José, this project has encouraged children to plant 30 Dama native tree species along 15th Street ,close to our center, with the help of ngos and the Municipality of San José, children and youth have designed and painted two murals below the train bridge on the same street and we are currently working on the details of a route and budget for a bike path which will join the University of Costa Rica in San Pedro with La Sabana park. Our partners are the Municipalities of San José, San Pedro, the Ministry of Public Works and environmental non governmental organizations.
