Celebration of the Abolition of the Army in Costa Rica
The Concordia Publications program of the Peace Center, began the annual December 1st celebration of the abolition of the army of Costa Rica several years ago together with other organizations such as The National Museum of Costa Rica, The Ministry of Culture, The Ministry of Justice, The Ministry of Health and The Arias Foundation for Peace. Concordia publications has also dedicated a part of its funds in order to publish various books. To see a list of our publications, please click here. Among the activities which we have helped organize are forums and round tables on education, migration, religion and national security. All our activities work within the framework of a culture of peace.
